UNITY CONTINUES TRIUMPH


Unity College continued its victorious campaign at the AvinashChaturvedi Memorial Inter-School Cricket Tournament, registering an impressive 60-run win over St Xavier’s College, Lucknow, in the second league match held on October 12, 2025. Earlier, the College had opened its campaign with a 12-run victory against LPS, Anand Nagar, Lucknow, in the first league match on October 10, 2025.

 

Winning the toss and opting to bat first, the College posted a total of 118 runs in 15 overs before being bowled out. The bowlers then exhibited remarkable consistency and control, restricting the opponents with disciplined bowling and agile fielding. Baqir Rizvi of class IX-B was adjudged Man of the Match for his exceptional bowling performance, conceding just 4 runs and taking 2 wickets in 2 overs. Displaying commendable teamwork, focus, and determination, the  team showcased their growing prowess on the field. Principal Mr Deepak Mervyn Mathews congratulated the spirited players on their continued success and lauded their sportsmanship and dedication.
