INFRASTRUCTURE
The College provides itself on having one of the most spacious and green campuses in Lucknow. Its rich infrastructure encompasses ventilated classrooms, with their airy, well-lit corridors and pathways, well-equipped labs, smart classes with audio visual facilities, state-of-the-art central hall, library, sport facilities, air-conditioned staff rooms, coupled with a canteen, tailoring unit and in-house medical facility.
INTERACTIVE SMART CLASSES
Smart boards differentiate instruction to support a variety of learning styles in fun and engaging ways at Unity. The College has special smart classrooms equipped with smart boards and LCD projectors to foster collaborative learning environments that nourish creativity and teamwork.
LABORATORIES
The College has state-of-the-art laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Bio-Technology. Three Computer laboratories facilitate training the students in IT right from the formative years of Pre-Primary. Interactive boards linked to the Colleges' server are provided in the Computer labs.
LIBRARY
Our College library is a learning centre with a wide range of resources such as books on Islamic Culture, Encyclopedias, Journals, Magazines and Reference Books to Fairytales. A special section of the library is devoted to latest books on Competitive Exams, Journals and Magazines.
CENTRAL HALL
Our centrally located Hall is a centre of considerable activities housing state-of-the-art facilities used for College functions, Seminars, Lectures and Teacher and Student Enhancement programmes. The College playground is converted to a huge outdoor auditorium on Annual Day.
PRE-PRIMARY SECTION
The Pre-Primary section at Unity College aims at fostering a happy and productive teaching - learning environment that is conducive to the growth of the child. Teaching is based on the belief that children learn best through active learning, direct hands-on experience with new learning aids, people, objects, events and ideas, to acquire a global outlook therefore the Pre-Primary program uses child-initiated, child-directed, teacher-supported play as an essential part of the educational process.
The PHONICS Road to spelling and reading is a method for teaching the basic skills of the English Language that has been adapted in the Pre-Primary section to cultivate good English Language skills. The completed refurbishments of the activity room have resulted in a much brighter environment which in turn has increased the energy in the room and improved the learning environment.
SPORTS
Sports and games take their rightful place in the lives of students at Unity College, whether they seek high level competition or recreation. Apart from the wide range of sporting activities like Football, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis and Carom, the College offers Physical Education as a subject and gives a special coaching in these games. The College also conducts an Annual Sports Meet and holds Inter-House Competition in most of the sports mentioned above.
The college sports facilities include state-of-the-art Football field, well-maintained Basketball court, a Cricket pitch, Volleyball, Badminton courts, Indoor Tennis court and Carom.
In the past few years, the college has made significant progress in various sports and games and is credited with several achievements. Our students have brought laurels to the College by winning many sporting events at the District and State Level.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The College offers a wide-ranging program that provides for the all-round development of a students' personality through many avenues. The college gives extensive emphasis to co-curricular activities to hone the innate skills of the students. It prepares the students for various inter house competition and Inter-School Activities like Debates, Elocution, Quiz, Recitation, Painting by committed and talented staff.
