UNITY MAKES A MARK @ 7TH MARTIN CUP

The exhilarating Inter-School Football Tournament 'The 7th Martin Cup-2022' was organised by La Martiniere College, Lucknow at the Polo Ground.

Unity made a scintillating entry by defeating the rivals 3-0 in the very first match with CMS, Aliganj on 11th August, 2022. Next day, keeping the team Siddarth Global School again at the loss 2-0, the College forged ahead with great enthusiasm and elevated confidence. In the same series of exciting victories, Unity Team crushed DPS, ELDECO 4-2 and Mont Fort College 3-0 on 14th and 16th August, respectively.

With the string of meticulous performances, the Unity Team entered the Semi-Final with AMC, Army Medical Corp. on 17th August. Within a few seconds, excitement spread out among the spectators as attacks and counter attacks were offered by both the opponents at every moment. The match got quite intense as nobody scored till 90 mins. But the tie-break match was fatally concluded in the Penalty Shootout. The College lost to the rivals with 0-3.

Principal Mr. Francis Castelino encouraged the players for their laudable performance and felicitated them with the certificates and blessings.
