Career Counselling is a domain that focuses on helping students find the right path for themselves. In keeping with this academic practice, Unity College holds counselling sessions on a regular basis with an aim to furnish the students with proper guidance and to help them choose a career path that is in tune with their skills and job expectations.
On 29th August 2022, the College organised a Career Counselling session for Commerce students from class IX to XII. The point of focus was on how to pursue a career as a Chartered Accountant- CA.
The distinguished professionals CA Mr.Divesh Aggarwal and Mr.Manish from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAD) addressed the students. Along with them two Alumni also graced the dais and shared their experience. Mohd.Naeemof the 2016 batch who completed his course this year only and Arpit Srivastava of the 2019 batch cleared CA Inter with the III position in Lucknow.
Mr.Divesh Aggarwal abreast the students with the nuances of the career in Commerce comprehensively, and discussed the details of the syllabus of the Foundation, Inter and Final courses. In conclusion, students participated enthusiastically in the interactive session. Mr. Divesh answered their queries regarding course duration, fee, salary packages, internships, and its prospects abroad.
Vice Principal Mr. Sachindra Bharti motivated the students to be determined, sincere and persevere in their approach to brighten their future prospects.
College Secretary Mr. NajmulHasan Rizvi also inspired the students to hone their potentials and pursue their realistic goals, not the tailor made professions.
The session privileged the students with a sure assistance in finding the right resources that would enable them to further focus on their career as a Chartered Accountant.
