Unity College enjoyed a delightful Puppet Show on the occasion of Children’s Day, November 14, 2025, filling the morning with laughter, curiosity, and excitement. The show was organised by The Times NIE for the tiny tots of Pre-Primary and class I to entertain the young learners and enhance their joy on this special day.
Puppet Artist Mr Sanjeev Srivastava brilliantly captivated the children with an engaging performance that seamlessly blended songs, music, dialogues, storytelling, and expressive movement. The comedy segment featuring Seth MurariLal and his adventurous journey through a forest at night, presented alongside the popular children’s song ‘Mere PaasAao Mere Dosto’, kept the young audience thoroughly amused. This was followed by a mesmerising exchange of playful, nonsensical dialogues between Sethji and AnokheLal, thoughtfully woven with simple yet meaningful messages on healthy oral habits and other valuable life lessons for young minds. The enthralling performance concluded with a lively and captivating song-and-dance sequence, leaving the children thoroughly delighted.
Principal Mr Deepak Mervyn Mathews and Vice Principal Mr Sachindra Bharti expressed their gratitude to Mr Srivastava and appreciated The Times NIE for presenting a delightful and educational programme that successfully combined entertainment with learning, enriching the children’s overall experience on Children’s Day.
