UNITY VICTORIOUS @ CISCE ZONAL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

Unity College Football teams- Junior as well as Senior registered their entry in CISCE Zonal Football Tournament held at Là Martiniere Boys College, Lucknow on 16th and 17th of July, 2022.

The Junior Boys Football Team played the first match against Spring Dale College Lucknow and won it 6-0. Next was the clash with Là Martiniere College. Again, the College Team crushed the rivals by 3-0 and emerged as the Champion of the Tournament.

The Senior Boys Football Team too cruised into the finals by giving a crushing defeat to CMS Rajajipuram College 5-0, and Colvin Taluqdar College 5-1. The final match against Là Martiniere Boys ended in a tie. In the penalty shootout, Unity lost the match by 4-3. Still not far behind, but clinched the Runners Up Trophy.

Principal Mr. Francis Castelino applauded the boys for shining at the zonal level and putting up tough opposition tactics. He blessed them to play better at the Regional Level Tournament and bring laurels to themselves, family and the College.
