Labour Day was celebrated on May 1, 2025 by the students of Classes 1 to 5 to appreciate the invaluable contributions of the school’s support staff. The event began with heartfelt words of gratitude from Primary Section Coordinator Ms Tazeen Rizvi, who spoke on behalf of the entire team, recognising the tireless efforts of the workers.
Principal Mr Deepak Mervyn Mathews graced the occasion and appreciated both the students and the support staff. Student representatives from each class presented essential items as tokens of gratitude—Class 1 offered buns, cookies, and cakes; Class 2 gave Frooti, chips, and savouries; Class 3 presented toothbrushes, cakes, and pens; Class 4 contributed shampoo, toothpaste, and soap; and Class 5 brought tea leaves, sugar, and bread.
The support staff were elated and expressed heartfelt thanks to the students for making them feel valued. The event was a meaningful reminder of gratitude and respect for those who work tirelessly behind the scenes.

Unity College proudly announces that ANO Nilofer Jafri was awarded the esteemed ‘On the Spot Citation DG NCC Plaque’ by Major General Gurbir Pal Singh, Director General of NCC, on May 1, 2025. The honour recognised ANO Jafri's exceptional dedication and sincere efforts in guiding and inspiring NCC cadets towards excellence, and fostering their interest in the Armed Forces.
In a special morning assembly on May 3, Principal Mr Deepak Mervyn Mathews and Vice Principal Mr Sachindra Bharti felicitated ANO Jafri, lauding her as a role model and a true inspiration for the College community.
