A special assembly was conducted in the Pre-Primary Section of Unity College on the 4th of Shaban, corresponding to February 3, 2025, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Hazrat Abbas (AS). Organised by the Theology Department, the event was led by Ms AshabBaqar and aimed to honour the life, teachings, and contributions of Hazrat Abbas (AS), who is revered for his unwavering courage, wisdom, and devotion to justice.

The assembly began with an introduction by Ms Baqar, who highlighted the significance of the day and spoke about the exceptional qualities of Hazrat Abbas (AS). She shared key insights into his life, focusing on his steadfast commitment to faith, leadership, and sacrifice. His unwavering loyalty and dedication to righteousness were emphasised as qualities to be admired and followed.

To engage students, an interactive quiz was conducted, testing their knowledge of Hazrat Abbas (AS). The quiz created an atmosphere of excitement and learning, ensuring active participation from the students. Those who answered correctly were rewarded with small cakes from QSchool as a token of appreciation. Additionally, students recited beautiful Naats and Qaseedas, further enriching the spiritual atmosphere of the gathering.

The assembly concluded with a heartfelt Dua for the well-being of students, teachers, and their families, as well as for peace and prosperity. The event left everyone with a deep sense of inspiration and reverence, strengthening their connection to the values exemplified by Hazrat Abbas (AS).
