On October 22, 2024, Gravity Classes conducted an insightful session for classes X and XI Science students at Unity College, led by Mr Ajay Joshi, Chief Business and Process Officer at Gravity Classes. He is an education technology expert and software engineer. He advocates for neuroplasticity, focus enhancement, and data-driven strategies to improve student learning. With over 20,000 students impacted in 80+ schools, he helps learners boost confidence and motor skills, shaping them into lifelong learners. Through seminars, he drives positive change in education, focusing on schools across Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Northern India. He is also a leading voice on product and self-development on LinkedIn India. He was assisted by Mr Hasan, Marketing Executive.
The event was overseen by Principal Mr Deepak Mervyn Mathews, Vice Principal Mr Sachindra Bharti, and School Counsellor Ms Nisar Fatima. Mr Joshi shared the inspiring story of Zomato's CEO, highlighting how success is possible even in the face of adversity. His talk centered on how neuroplasticity—our brain’s ability to adapt and learn—is crucial for academic success.
During the session, Mr Joshi introduced the students to the 'three pillars of education' and the 'four quadrants of learning.' To illustrate the importance of adaptability, he engaged two volunteers in a practical activity, asking them to shift a box from one point to another, symbolising the journey of learning and achievement.
He also emphasised the significance of developing strong reading habits and self-confidence, encouraging students to ask questions and actively engage in their learning journey. After addressing students' queries, he concluded by promoting the institute's proven track record in helping students excel in competitive exams.
Following the session, the Gravity Classes team visited class XI Science and administered tests in Physics, Chemistry, and Math, while gathering students' personal information for more tailored guidance.
Overall, the session proved to be highly motivating, leaving students with valuable insights into neuroplasticity and education, while inspiring them to work diligently towards their academic and personal goals.
