PRE-PRIMARY RECITATION COMPETITION

On September 24, 2024, a vibrant recitation competition was held in the Pre-Primary Section of the College, showcasing the remarkable talents of our young students. The event was graced by esteemed guests, including College Secretary Mr Najmul Hasan Rizvi, Jt Secretary Dr M Talha, Principal Mr Deepak Mervyn Mathews, Vice Principal Mr Sachindra Bharti, and Headmistress Ms Kainaat Mansoor. The competition was divided into two categories: one featuring Upper Nursery classes UN A, UN B, and UN C and the other comprising Prep classes Prep A, Prep B, and Prep C. It commenced with a soulful recitation of the Holy Quran by Arham Ali of class 4C, setting a respectful tone for the proceedings. Following this, the guests were warmly welcomed, and Principal Mr Mathews motivated both the children and the audience, underscoring the importance of such events in fostering confidence and creativity.

The winners in each category were as follows:

The guests expressed immense satisfaction with the performances, particularly appreciating the energy, creativity, and colourful props that the children utilised. College Secretary Mr Najmul Hasan Rizvi and Jt Secretary Dr M Talha praised the performances immensely, acknowledging the hard work put in by the teachers to groom the students and create the props, which would have taken days. They also noted and appreciated the thoughtful selection of poems. Vice Principal Mr Sachindra Bharti remarked that everyone was a winner.

In the end, the Lower Nursery performance added a joyful touch, with children reciting their poems using vibrant props, celebrating the pure delight of expression without the pressures of competition.

The poems recited during the event were not only entertaining but also carried enlightening messages, focusing on themes such as environmental conservation and the importance of nurturing our planet. The overall atmosphere was one of celebration and pride, reflecting the collective effort of students and teachers alike. The recitation competition concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Headmistress Ms Kainaat Mansoor, who praised the children and teachers for their hard work and contributions.
