The NCC Girl Cadets of Unity College have achieved a remarkable milestone, earning 'A' certificates upon the successful completion of their training for the 2023–24 session. In recognition of their hard work and dedication, the certificates were awarded by Principal Mr Deepak Mathews in a special ceremony. A total of 20 cadets were honoured for their achievement.
Adding to the celebration, it was proudly announced that Angel Fatima and Midhat Fatima from class IX-B were awarded Gold Medals for their outstanding performance in Map Reading at the camp held on July 29, 2024. Unity College also brought home the second-place trophy in the group song competition, further showcasing the diverse talents of its students.
Principal Mr Mathews lauded the cadets for their tireless efforts and commended ANO Ms Nilofer Jafri for her exceptional leadership and guidance. He encouraged other girls to join the NCC, emphasising that it offers valuable opportunities for growth and discipline. He also revealed exciting news that Unity College would soon be extending its NCC program to include boys, marking another significant step forward for the institution.
