An enthralling Mathematics Quiz was organised for the Unitians on August 17, 2024, in the Central Hall.
The distinguished guests for the occasion, Secretary Mr Najmul Hasan Rizvi, Principal Mr Deepak Mathews and Headmistress Ms Kainaat Mansoor extended their best wishes to the participants and emphasised that such competitions not only deepen subject knowledge but also improve students' speed and reasoning skills in solving mathematical problems.
The competition, which aimed to challenge and engage students, was divided into two categories: Junior (Classes VI–VIII) and Senior (Classes IX–XII). The quiz comprised three exciting rounds, each tailored to the participants' grade levels.
The first round, "Math Marvels", featured a series of straightforward mathematical questions, setting the stage for an intense competition. Following this, the second round, "Reasoning Riddles", tested the students' logical thinking and reasoning abilities, crucial skills for any competitive exam. The final round, aptly named "Buzz Battle", was a thrilling showdown that kept everyone on the edge of their seats, as it played a decisive role in determining the winners.
Vice Principal Mr Sachindra Bharti extended a heartfelt vote of thanks, commending the dedicated efforts of the overall in-charge Mr Inkit Punjabi, whose leadership ensured the quiz's resounding success, and other teachers who played a pivotal role in organising the event like Mr Mirza Saif Husain, Ms Arshia Tabassum, Mr ShahidulHaq Siddiqui and Ms Farwa Fatima.
The quiz fostered a spirit of healthy competition and inspired students to excel in Mathematics. The participants displayed remarkable talent and enthusiasm, making the event memorable.
