III OFFICER NILOFER JAFRI PAYS HOMAGE TO KARGIL SHAHEED MAJOR RITESH SHARMA

Unity Teacher and III Officer Nilofer Jafri with 12 NCC Cadets of Unity College offered a solemn wreath to the Kargil Shahid Major Ritesh Sharma at his home in Indira Nagar, Lucknow on 4thApril, 2022. They met the Parents and Sister of the Amar Shahid and paid tribute to his great sacrifice for the Nation.

The wreath laying ceremony was conducted under the campaign‘ShahidonKo Shat ShatNaman’ as per order of 19 UP Girls Battalion, Lucknow, to commemorate the victory of the Indian Armed Forces and to pay tribute to the supreme sacrifice of the martyrs. The ceremony was attended by the parents and sister of Shahid Major Sharma, Subedar Major Tajpur Singh,
S. M. of 19 Girls Bn., G.C.I - Vineeta Srivastava and P I Staff - 19 Bn.

The emotional ceremony concluded amidst tears of pride and inspiration for youngsters.
