TIMES NIE WORKSHOP: MENTAL MATHS AND GK

The Times NIE organised a workshop on Mental Math and GK at Unity College for class IX students on February 8, 2024. The objective was to enhance their proficiency in mathematical problem-solving and cultivate quick and accurate calculation skills. Dr BidyutSaha, the resource person, elucidated various mental calculation techniques and numerology concepts in a straightforward manner. In addition to Mathematics, Dr Saha conducted interactive sessions on stress management and covered current affairs in GK. 

The workshop proved beneficial for students grappling with complex mathematical solutions. Principal Mr Francis Castelino expressed gratitude to Dr Saha for simplifying difficult computations and providing the learners with valuable insights.
