On the chilly cold morning of 13th January the Unity Staff stood on duty to kickstart the Covid-19 Vaccination Camp for the beneficiaries in the age group of 15 to 18 years in the College premises. In compliance with the  UP Government’s order, the Camp was organised in association with Sewa Sadan, Thakurganj with an aim to effect preventive measures against COVID 19 and Omicron and to restrain the deadly virus from spreading among the young children.

 
Dr. Andaleeb Rizvi and her team from the Health Department administered the vaccination of Covaxin for the students, but there was a choice between Covaxin and Covishield for the College staff.

Prior to the voluntary vaccination, the students were asked to submit the consent letters duly signed by their parents.

Different time slots for classes IX to XII were assigned. The safety drive continued from 8:30 to 2:30 p.m. in separate rooms for girls and boys.

Principal Mr. Francis motivated the students for the vaccination. He said all the students should get vaccinated for the safety of themselves, family and the society at large. It will mitigate the severity and prevent complications of COVID among children. He also proposed a vote of thanks to the UP Govt. for the good initiative to ensure vaccination of the future citizens of the Country.
